Hotel Villa Rosa

My Italian friend recommended the hotel , looking on TripAdvisor there were some negative comments. But the hotel is fine… perfect location to Trastevere station , and buses ,easy walking to some nearby restaurants , bars and supermarkets. I always like to book double rooms , and the size , comfort and bathroom were fine. The staff friendly and helpful. I don’t normally eat breakfast but there were plenty of pastries , cheese , ham , a coffee machine plus filter coffee. I would definitely stay here again , and good free Wi-Fi.

Great location right by the train station and in between the coliseum and the Vatican. It was nice that they allowed us to store our luggage there before check in. Breakfast was nice in the morning, and the staff was very friendly.

Nice staff at the reception. The breakfast selection is simple, but sufficient. The location is great - near Roma Trestevere train station, it was very convenient to arrive from Fiumicino airport or go to the Vatican. We like to walk, so we reached many places on foot. The economy room is small, but it was only needed for sleeping :)

Staff were friendly and helpful, good sized bathroom, toiletries were provided, luggage storage after checkout, air conditioning worked well. Convenient location from the train. Highlight was breakfast, which was a large spread, well-stocked, and had friendly staff managing it.

Good value for money! No frills, rooms are quite basic and a bit small, but also very clean and the bed is comfortable. Staff is very helpful and kind. Breakfast has a good selection of pastries and cakes, coffee/tea and a few other things (yogurt, juices, toast bread, jam, cold cuts). Again, no luxury but good value for the price. My room faced the interior and was very quiet. Great location walking distance from Trastevere station. Delivery from a nearby restaurant is easy and very good quality.
